Maison Christian Dior's Tobacolor is a new fragrance family whose shades are inspired by the diversity of tobacco. The collection is embodied in three expressions of color inspired by the 'blonde', 'gris' and 'noir' blends in the Maison's tobacco absolute collection. The blossom of Virginia tobacco leaves is recreated with delicate floral notes, while the 'grizzly' tobacco blends are softened by sweet honey.

Christian Dior was founded in 1946 by Christian Dior himself, with the aid of his financial backers, H. Gaillard of Banque Paribas, and M. Weitz of Groupe Bernard Baruch. Dior's ambition was to create haute couture ready to wear collections that were more accessible to an international audience.
